Domingo Matheu Military Weapons Factory (PAC)

Location:

Avenida Ovidio Lagos, Rosario.

Description:

Main entrance to the factory from the Avenida. The SDC was situated towards the back of the site; beyond, there was a sort of yard. They had made an entrance directly to the centre from the dirt road along the southern wall. It had a large, reddish iron gate. When it ceased to operate, this was blocked up.

The SDC consisted of several interconnected, rather old buildings.

Kitchen-dining-room, latrine, tiny storeroom, two staff dormitories. Prisoners were kept in the old stables, tied to rings in the wall. The enclosure was divided in two and there was torture equipment in both parts.
