Location:

Inside the police station of Villa Insuperable, Calles Quintana and Tapalqué, four blocks from the Avenida General Paz, District of La Matanza, Buenos Aires province.


Description:

The main entrance led into the offices and other areas open to the public. Entering by the garage one went up some steps and then came to a wide passage, at the end of which was a door of iron bars which led to the cells. One of these was arranged as a storeroom and records office. A central cell, larger than the others (approximately 4 metres square) was used as a staff dining-room and for sleeping quarters. Toilets, showers and a sink for washing dishes. In the corner opposite the garage was an open courtyard, completely enclosed and entered through a gate of heavy iron bars. On the upper floor, a torture room and other areas.
