Testimony of Alcides Antonio Chiesa - File N° 634

After being kidnapped on 15 October 1977, I was transferred to the Detective Squad in Quilmes.

On 3 May 1978 I was taken to the police station at Villa Echenagucía.

I was put at the disposition of the National Executive by Decree No. 1613 of 18 July 1978.

The Buenos Aires Provincial Police Chief told this Commission on 18 April 1984:

We have been unable to establish any record of Alcides Antonio Chiesa ever having been at the Quilmes police station, Section 2 (Bernal). He was, however, at the police station in Villa Echenagucía because the Prisoners Arrivals and Exits Book, Page 34, Order No. 17, records the arrival of Alcides Antonio Chiesa on 16/6/78 from Military Zone 112 and his transfer on 6/10/78 to Detention Institute Unit No. 2 in Buenos Aires city at the disposition of the National Executive.

Alcides Antonio Chiesa was seen in the Detective Squad at Quilmes ('Pozo de Quilmes') by Alberto Felipe Maly (file No. 836) and Alberto Derman (file No. 4185).

The deposition relating to his illegal deprivation of liberty and torture was presented to Criminal Court No. 1 in La Plata.
