La Ribera (PAC)

Location:

Córdoba Province, 15 kilometres from the provincial capital, under the jurisdiction of Section 5 of the Córdoba Police; on the premises of the military prison, 'La Ribera', beside the old San Vicente cemetery.

Description:

Military barracks with several colonial-style buildings. The prisoners' hut was approximately 50 metres long by 5 or 6 metres wide. The windows were barred openings. Inside there were toilets and showers, separated by a partition wall. The hut opened on to a courtyard-, on the right were cells and adjoining these the women's hut. The interrogation and torture rooms were opposite the hut.
