Las Flores Detective Squad (PAC)

Location:

Avellaneda 705, Las Flores, Buenos Aires province.

Description:

At the back of police premises. Entry was through a large site with an inspection pit for car repairs. There were white and green kerosene stoves. A side door with a step led to a corridor with an earthen floor leading to nine cells, a kitchen and an area with a sink: on one side, a place with a shower and WC with no door. The roof above one of the doors had a concrete pipe from which water would drip when it rained. Thickly plastered walls. Building was going on in 1977, since a cement mixer could be heard.
