Part I
The Repression

Nunca Más (Never Again) - Report of Conadep  - 1984

San Justo Detective Squad (PAC)

Adjoining Police Station No. 1, Calle Salta, San Justo, District of La Matanza, Buenos Aires province.

On getting out of the car there was a gravel yard. Two-storey building. Prisoners' entrance was through a tiny kitchen, adjacent to one of the torture cells. Several cells with a toilet, others also with showers; one larger one, with hooks on the wall. They had high, barred vents. Some gave on to an uncovered yard but with bars and wire netting. The top storey was taken up by offices. One, with a chart on the wall, was used for interrogation sessions. Two of them were carpeted and had wooden beds.
