Secret Detention Centres in Santa Fe

Infantry Guards Headquarters

This consisted of a detention centre which admitted disappeared prisoners and redirected them elsewhere. Generally, they would be officially recognized and transferred to prison units in the region.

Stella Maris Vallejo (file No. 7505) and Patricia Traba (file No.7505/1) were moved from the police station to the Reserve Infantry Guards Headquarters. The operation was under the Command of Police Inspector Perizotti (file Nos. 7474 and 7505). They remained there for a year.

We were continually under interrogation for the first few months by men who wouldn't identify themselves and who kept us hooded and under threat. The transfer from the room where we were quartered to the interrogation place was effected by members of the Infantry Guards.

They were later officially recognized.
