The Proceedings of
the Commission on Disappeared People in Córdoba
La Ribera
The barracks of the Córdoba Military Prison for legally convicted prisoners is in the San Vicente district in the cast of the city. Its buildings occupy a vast piece of land near the cemetery.
Mohamed recognized the place where she had been taken to recover from the wounds she had received under torture at La Perla. Luis Ludueña (file No 5229) recognized the block where he had been held. Guillermo Puerta (file No. 4834) described each place before entering it, noting how the entrance hall had changed. Everything was confirmed as we went over each of the places described. Olindo Durelli (file No. 4300) and Arturo Ruffa (file No. 4244) immediately confirmed some details of what they had seen during their captivity, Ludueña and Wilfredo Meloni (file No. 4208) also contributed new elements of proof.
Marta Aguirre (file No. 4211) not only recognized the buildings but noticed in particular
'the benches where they made me sit and the narrow tables where we ate from plates with the emblem of the Argentine Army'.
