Disappearance of Enrique Raab - File N° 276

This unfortunate journalist worked for a time for the newspaper Clarín and the magazines Siete Días and Visión. On 16 April 1977 the flat where he was living was completely surrounded by heavily armed men, although it was only about 100 metres away from Police Station No. 1 of Buenos Aires. His captors forced the porter to go up with them to the door of his flat. They then machine-gunned the door, (wounding Raab), and blindfolded both people who were there, Raab and Daniel Giron, before forcing them to get into a car that left for an unknown destination. One week later, Giron was freed, but nothing has ever been heard of Raab.
