Mountain Communications Company (PAC)

Location:

Barracks situated on Boulogne Sur Mer, inside the 8th Rural Infantry Brigade on the outskirts of Mendoza.

Description:

The buildings of the SDC have been partly demolished, as the Commission on Disappeared People were able to ascertain during their survey. It was a rectangular building, with a sloping roof supported by beams. At one end of the building were the bathrooms, which had showers, sinks and a WC. At the other end, four rooms divided in twos by a central corridor; prisoners would be interrogated here. 
Measures for preventing escape included blocked-up doors and windows and permanent guards. Other SDC units operated in various buildings of the military unit.
